British Cycling Yorkshire

Welcome

From the Sheffield postal codes of the South to Whitby in the North; the Yorkshire Region of British Cycling covers considerable ground. Being the only one of BC’s 10 Regions to carry a county name, the Region has developed a unique identity and drive.

Home to many of Britain’s best riders with Olympic Gold Medallist Ed Clancy, World Champion Steve Peat, Sky Pros Russ Downing and Ben Swift, just some of our current crop. Women’s racing is also up there with Lizzie Armistead and Anna Blyth coming up through our Talent Team ranks to the top of their international trees.

Working to create opportunities for riders of all abilities and disciplines is our key focus. With a Board of both elected volunteers and professional staff the focus is well served. Our ability to continue this work is very much dependant on new volunteers taking up the opportunity to work with us, even join us. For more information please see our Contact us page.
